Storm Babet: People wade through flooded streets as torrential rain batters Ireland

Dramatic footage shows people wading through the streets of a town centre as Storm Babet made landfall on Ireland's south coast. Residents in Midleton, County Cork, can be seen making their way through a brown torrent of water as a result of torrential rain. Storm Babet hit Ireland early on Wednesday 18 October and made landfall on the UK in the early evening.
