Wappo (Java) 2003 - Part 1: levels 1-74 - 100% Walkthrough - Siemens Mobile Phone Game

So, in my childhood I played Wappo 2. But I was pretty interested in what the original first Wappo game was. And... It's not that bad! Generally, it's more simple, than the sequel (not only visually), because there isn't much different elements and if you understand the enemy behavior - you can easily complete most of the levels. The amount of possible move combinations is very limited, there's only two types of enemies instead of 3, no portals, no movable elements, no breakable walls, the exit is always on of a far side of the field. The only environmental element besides walls (and exit doors) is a... trap? This thing kills Wappo if he steps on it and it holds the normal monster for 4 turns (merged monster can ignore them). So that's the only element you can play with. And the merged monster can't move diagonally - he just takes one additional turn. But at least there are 125 levels instead of 100! And to be honest, there's no increasing difficulty in this game: the first level is harder, than some of the last ones. But some levels really made my mind blow up, even with such a limited possibilities. Even if Wappo 2 was by all means harder, it had some super easy levels at the first half of the game. But this one may be difficult constantly. And because of the fact that there are 125 levels and YouTube allows to add only 100 time codes in one video (they won't be displayed correctly otherwise), I decided to split the walkthrough in two parts. This one has first 74 levels and all the remaining ones you will find in the second part. Well, shtozh... Just like I did with my longplay of the second Wappo game, I edited this video as hell, because I got MANY unsuccessful attempts and I needed to cut them out. But this time the game for some reason didn't play the music... However, the music IS in the game files, so I extracted it and converted that midi file to mp3 and looped this music piece over the whole video. I guess, that's how it was meant to be, if the developers are the same. So keep in mind that it's not how the emulator plays the music - it's some random online midi to mp3 converter... The music is a bit weird... I liked the theme of the sequel more. It was very similar, but better structured and looped. But what I DO like in this game - it's how fast Wappo can move. You don't need to wait after your turn if the enemy can't move. The sequel for some reason removed this possibility and I genuinely think it was made only to make the game longer. By the way, that might be the first full walkthrough of this game, I saw only a short video demonstration of this game and I couldn't even find any guides to any levels of this game around the internet. So I hope this video will help people, who got stuck on some levels. It's not like you can really stuck in this game like in the sequel, but... you never know. 0:00 - Level 1 0:44 - Level 2 1:17 - Level 3 1:55 - Level 4 2:43 - Level 5 3:19 - Level 6 3:54 - Level 7 4:46 - Level 8 5:28 - Level 9 6:18 - Level 10 6:54 - Level 11 7:24 - Level 12 8:10 - Level 13 9:02 - Level 14 9:55 - Level 15 10:42 - Level 16 11:30 - Level 17 12:26 - Level 18 13:10 - Level 19 14:01 - Level 20 14:50 - Level 21 15:26 - Level 22 16:54 - Level 23 17:49 - Level 24 18:43 - Level 25 19:31 - Level 26 20:09 - Level 27 20:45 - Level 28 21:23 - Level 29 22:12 - Level 30 22:58 - Level 31 23:39 - Level 32 24:39 - Level 33 25:50 - Level 34 26:32 - Level 35 27:25 - Level 36 28:15 - Level 37 29:05 - Level 38 30:00 - Level 39 30:38 - Level 40 31:11 - Level 41 31:51 - Level 42 32:33 - Level 43 33:10 - Level 44 33:55 - Level 45 35:14 - Level 46 36:37 - Level 47 37:25 - Level 48 38:19 - Level 49 39:02 - Level 50 39:42 - Level 51 40:14 - Level 52 40:54 - Level 53 41:34 - Level 54 42:18 - Level 55 42:57 - Level 56 43:53 - Level 57 44:54 - Level 58 45:44 - Level 59 46:21 - Level 60 47:44 - Level 61 48:35 - Level 62 49:18 - Level 63 50:08 - Level 64 50:47 - Level 65 51:31 - Level 66 52:17 - Level 67 52:54 - Level 68 53:34 - Level 69 54:47 - Level 70 55:36 - Level 71 56:17 - Level 72 56:58 - Level 73 57:45 - Level 74 That's it for this part!
