Dubai artificially creating rainstorms with drones and electricity

Dubai is making it rain in a sweltering desert by zapping clouds with electricity using drones. A similar process has actually been going on for decades by using aircraft, cannons, and now drones to push silver iodide up into the atmosphere to heat clouds and make them rain-producing. Silver iodide has the same crystalized structure as ice, but it could be dangerous to aquatic life. So in Dubai, theytook a fleet of drones into cloud cover to use electricity, instead of silver iodide, to heat the clouds.
