Unspoken Spoken - a new dance film from Candoco Dance Company

Our new film Unspoken Spoken, directed and choreographed by Fin Walker, performed by disabled and non-disabled dancers. We encounter five characters, each with his or her own rules to question, to surrender to, to fight against. Some younger, some older, they ask us to look deeper, to explore our own boundaries. What changes if we face up to what is holding us back? Featuring Jess Dowdeswell, a 14-year old who dances without her wheelchair, and Jemima Hoadley, who narrates the story through British Sign Language, voice and movement, Unspoken Spoken exposes the potential that exists when we dare to challenge the rules.
