Atomy Eye Lutein, Product Introduction by Aly Pingol, Atomy Philippines Atomy Eye Lutein is a Multi-functional Formula of Lutein, Vitamin A, Zinc, and Berry extract (Additives) for Healthy Eyes. What are the essentials for vision health? Lutein It’s the main carotenoid pigment in the macula. Dietary supplement is needed because macular pigment density is decreased with age and it cannot be synthesized in the body. Lutein cannot be synthesized within the human body. Therefore taking lutein supplements is recommended. Lutein absorbs reactive oxygen thereby protecting blood vessels and improving circulation. Lutein supplements are recommended from the start of aging in order to maintain macular pigment density. Lutein also reduces blue light damage by absorbing blue light, which damages macula and retina. Vitamin A Inside a rod cell, retinal, which is vitamin A’s aldehyde form, combines with ‘opsin’ protein to form ‘rhodopsin’, which helps us detect dim light in the dark. Vitamin A is needed in the process of changing light signal into neural signal. Effective optical signal transmission requires vitamin A to combine with ‘opsin’ protein to form ‘rhodopsin’. Vitamin A deficient eyes cannot see dim lights in the dark. Vitamin A is rich in liver, carrots, sweet potatoes, sunflower, tomatoes, seafood, yeast, spinach, parsley, wasabi, pumpkin, apple, and chives. What’s macular degeneration? Age-related macular degeneration is the deterioration of the macula, which is the central area of the retina of the eye that controls vision acuity. Macula Nerve tissue located in the heart of the inner retina of the eye. It plays an important role as a recognition point and color differentiator of incoming optical signals. Causes of Degeneration Degeneration is caused by abnormal angiogenesis in the retina due to capillary disorders. Smoking, high-fat, high-calorie diet, stress, obesity, and hypertension are also associated with macular degeneration. Leading causes of vision loss Vision can decline when there is a deficiency of Lutein, Vitamin A, and Beta Carotene. Physical factors: Degeneration of the muscles that form the perspective of regulation or the aging of the optic nerve or retina. Environmental factors: Stress on the eyes due to watching TV and playing games, nutritional imbalance, and smoking. How to keep the eyes healthy Keep proper posture. Make sure eyes get rest while reading, watching TV, and using a computer. Drink plenty of water. Take foods such as liver, egg yolk, fruits and greens that contain vitamin A, Beta Carotene, Lutein, and Zeaxanthin. Stop smoking and drinking, and reduce stress. 9 steps for healthy eyes Get a vision test before age 4 for early detection of amblyopia. Get routine eye checkups after age 40. Treat and control diabetes, high blood pressure, and hyperlipidemia. Consult a doctor when considering wearing contact lenses. Stop smoking. Wear sunglasses and/or hats outdoors. Control temperatures and humidity while indoors, and control computer use. Keep indoors bright and do not read or watch things too close to the eyes. Protect the eyes while when exercising or working outdoors. Atomy Eye Lutein use Aztech marigold flower extract. Traditional Harvest Region. Our marigold is harvested from Central Mexico at an altitude of 2000m. Black Soil. Our harvesting ground contains fertile soil with plenty of nutrients. Ideal climate. The area has bright sunshine and scarce rainfall as well as cool weather, which are perfect for marigold flower harvest. Hand-picked. Instead of using machinery, each of our marigold is hand-picked in July and August. Atomy Eye Lutein is recommended for the following people: If you experience vision decline due to aging. If you drive at night. If you like to watch TV. If you work on the computer for a long time. If you’re exposed to UV lights. If you’re concerned with your vision health.
