Knights Armament Beretta Snap On Silencer (Available at Capitol Armory)

I took my Knights Armament XM9 Silencer for a little quiet shooting. The XM9 is available now at Capitol Armory. The XM9 is a limited re-release of the old Beretta Snap On Silencer. It comes with a fitted M9/92 Barrel & 2 wipe capsules. The silencer mounts via bars that connect the activation button/rear sight. The bars slide into grooves in the barrel. The XM9 is ridiculously quiet & you can feel all the trapped pressure when ran with a Slide Lock Beretta. The Beretta in the outside clips is made by Mod Armory. They take a new or existing Beretta 92FS & do the milk work on the slide & attach the lock to the frame. In the inside video I’m using a normal 92FS & holding the slide with my thumb. It’s not hard to do but you’d better pay attention or you might cut your thumb open. The XM9 was originally a Knights DOD project for doing “social work” A few originals made it out a few decades ago but luckily KAC decided to release 50-60 for their Gun Vault series. This is not a range toy, mostly because it uses wipes. KAC does not currently offer or replace spent wipes but most just go to McMaster-Carr & get abrasion resistant polyurethane rubber sheets that are 1/8” thick. They also get a 1” cutter. Forewarned, the BATFE considers wipes as silencer parts & as such, only a licensed manufacturer can make/replace them. Patrick, formally of TFBTV, stated in a video that some XM9s didn’t have a front sight because they were chipping teeth. Essentially, these would’ve been I started in the mouths of persons of interest. I guess dental bills for commies was high. Neither the KAC XM9 or Mod Armory Slide Lock Beretta are cheap. They are $1000s cheaper than the originals though. They are a great piece of Silencer history that I’m greatful to have. Filming was done at Manchaca Suppressors.
