Sawfish spinning in the Florida Keys

The Sawfish in the Florida Keys urgently need help. They are a critically endangered species that are exhibiting strange behaviors of spinning, circling, and beaching themselves. Many of them die. This sawfish was seen spinning on the evening of 4/10/24 on Lower Matecumbe Key. FWC was alerted and their biologists showed up promptly. He was spinning for about a half hour then swam off but returned later. FWC is working their tail off and it is important that these fish get reported. Some fish can even be transported to facilities both in the keys and the mainland, where they get exposed to clean water. As of now, the scientific community and the public do not know what is causing it. Please help spread awareness. I saw him while driving on US-1 and I only saw his three fins sticking out of the water. I would have thought it was a shark swimming on the flat had I not been familiar with this.
