Baltic Fleet’s Bal coastal defense system crew carry out missile firing at sea target As part of the planned exercise, the Baltic Fleet’s coastal missile battalion conducted successful combat firing from Bal coastal missile system against a maritime target located in the waters of the Baltic Sea. According to the scenario, Bal coastal missile systems of the missile battalion, which performed tasks of special purpose in one of the position areas in Kaliningrad region, detected a ship of a mock enemy and took the target on an escort. The role of the mock enemy ship involved a target ship shield. After receiving a signal to use missile weapons, the Bal coastal missile system fired at a sea target.
