Footage of recent tests of 4S24 dynamic protection, designed to protect light armor of infantry fighting vehicles and armored personnel carriers from cumulative destructive weapons. The tests were carried out by the Steel Research Institute and were published by the Kalashnikov Concern. This system was already being installed on some BMP - 3 wehicles. As part of the tests, firing was carried out with an RPG-7 hand-held anti-tank grenade launcher with a PG-7VS round of cumulative action and a penetration level of at least 400 mm of armor steel. The dynamic protection container was installed with an air gap relative to the model of the tank’s side, and fire was fired at the container from a distance of 30 m. As a result, the destruction of the cumulative jet was ensured and through penetration of the armor plate was prevented. Source: Slavyangrad
