This unusual acoustic effect occurs where sound reflections travel back and forth between hard reflective parallel walls. This makes designing the reverberation in a sports hall very tricky because of the need for impact resistant materials at low level, particularly challenging if the intention is for a multipurpose space for assemblies as well as video was recorded onsite by a MACH Acoustics engineer, using a starter pistol to omit an impulse for measuring the reverberation time.
