Regatta Gaiety (1931)

Full titles read: “Regatta Gaiety. In a Paris Bath.“ (new title) “Low dives, straight dives, quick dives and slick dives -“. Paris, France. Various shots of men jumping off a board and into a swimming pool. A large crowd watches and applauds. M/S of a lady parading past the pool in a kind of fashion show; she wears a very daring (for the day) swimsuit with several cut out sections. She is followed by a woman wearing a Victorian-style bathing costume. A man with a large belly swims in the pool, imitating the movements of a porpoise or dolphin. L/S of a man running from the crowd around the pool to stand right beside the water. An official and two policemen approach him, speak to him and he ends up falling into the swimming pool.
