Leksha Yankov’s music at Ada Lovelace Festival 2021

© ada Learning GmbH, Ada Lovelace Festival 2021 It’s a real time performance where dance artists as their digital avatars interact with each other covering distances and physical limits. Yulia Arsen was dancing in Moscow studio and Lotta was on the stage of the Ada Lovelace festival in Munich. The idea of this performance was inspired by quantum entanglement. It is a physical phenomenon that occurs when a group of particles are generated, interact, or share spatial proximity in a way such that the quantum state of each particle of the group cannot be described independently of the state of the others, including when the particles are separated by a large distance. It is exciting to visualize the quantum worlds. We are trying to tell about complicated quantum phenomena in a simple and emotional way. The music for this performance was played by a special algorithm. Talented composer Leksha Yankov creates such algorithms to generate musical score, that can play and vary, in theory, infinitely.
