Bodycam footage of police shooting 13-year-old refugee

Three officers from Utica, New York have been placed on administrative leave after the shooting and killing of a 13-year-old refugee. Nyah Mway, who local media identify as a member of the Karen ethnic minority from Myanmar, was stopped by police in connection with an armed robbery while jaywalking, along with another, unnamed, 13-year-old. Officers tell Mway that they have to pat him down, suspecting he has a gun, however Mway fled, prompting a brief but deadly chase. A short distance up the road, Officer Patrick Husnay tackled Mway to the ground, with Officer Bryce Pattinson in close pursuit. As Pattinson approached Mway, Mway appeared to pull out a gun. Pattinson discharged a single shot into Mway, killing him. It later emerged that the gun Mway was carrying was a replica. The second youth was arrested without further incident. Husnay, Pattinson and a third officer at the scene, Andrew Citriniti, have been placed on administrative leave while the state attorney general and the police department investigate the shooting. attacked the vessel with multiple missiles while it was in the Arabian Sea, over alleged links to Israel.
