The Infected: People with Dark Powers I had a dream, and based on it, I created this article and a musical composition exploring this theme. Among us are those who carry a dark secret in their hearts. Their eyes glow with a dark gray color, reflecting the grim mysteries hidden within. They are the infected, wielders of powers capable of causing evil and horror. Yet, not all are inclined towards darkness. Malevolent Nature Some infected display a malevolent nature. They can be sharp-tongued, rude in their actions, their dark essence seeping through every gesture and word. However, many live ordinary lives, having families and children. They don’t gather in crowds or form secret cults but care for one another, supporting each other in difficult times. Horror Projections The infected have an incredible ability to project horrors directly into the real world. Their dark power allows them to create grim images that appear before the eyes of many people simultaneously. These projections aren’t limited to dreams or visions; they become part of reality, affecting everyone within their influence. Dark figures, terrifying creatures, and sinister scenes appear instantly, causing their victims to experience fear and despair. These projections not only manipulate emotions but also physically affect those around them, plunging them into panic and helplessness. Brotherhood in Darkness Though the infected don’t gather in crowds, they are always ready to support one another. They know they share a common fate and often find solace in the company of those who understand their dark battles. Their bond stems from mutual understanding and support rather than a desire for power or control. The Dark Force “Mara“ Many infected spoke of an entity called “Mara.“ This dark force was the source of their dark abilities and nightmares. “Mara“ existed somewhere in the shadows, watching over its followers and guiding them in their sinister deeds. Awakening the Darkness For the infected, it is crucial to awaken the darkness within those who have suppressed it. They seek out others like themselves, striving to find those who can share their dark nature. If someone even momentarily suppresses their dark essence, other infected, highly sensitive to this, will attempt to rekindle it to prevent it from fading. Conclusion This world is not black and white but full of shades of gray. The infected, hiding dark forces within, can be both malevolent and noble. Their essence is complex and multilayered, like each of us.
