7th CHORDS - Chord Theory Part 2
This guitar lesson covers the music theory of 7th chords for guitar. You learn about the structure of the 7th chords that are built upon the 4 types of triads: minor triad, major triad, diminished triad and augmented triad. Adding a 7th degree to the triad creates a 7th chord like the major 7th chord (maj7), dominant 7th chord (dom7), minor 7th chord (min7), minor major 7th chord (minMaj7), augmented dominant 7th chord (dom7#5), augmented major 7th chord (Maj7#5), half diminished chord (min7b5) and full diminished chord (dim7).
