A Weekend in New Haven, CT | eating a lot of pizza 🍕, Italian food, and hotel time with the pup
A couple of weeks ago, we took the Metro-North railroad to New Haven! The journey was about two hours from NYC. Since the train is dog-friendly, we took Pika with us and made it a fun little weekend getaway. New Haven is known for amazing pizza (Naples-style), Italian food, and of course, Yale University! Being that the mascot for Yale is the English Bulldog, Pika felt right at home 😂 and predictably received way too much attention...
We booked a hotel in the downtown area and loved it! It's in a great location, is super dog-friendly, and has a cute cafe and hip cocktail bar. We didn't have a car with us, but felt that the location of this hotel made it easy to walk around and see plenty of things :)
