‘There’s a pattern’: Douglas Murray issues warning over media fact-checkers

Author Douglas Murray has identified a “pattern” where Republicans are constantly being fact-checked by the media while they fail to call up the Democrats. Mr Murray said objectivity in journalism is impossible but at least some media outlets do not hide that they report more on certain issues. “But these other media, the BBC and ABC and so on, they all do the same thing,” he told Sky News host Rita Panahi. “They pretend to be impartial fact-checkers. In actual fact, they’re just not that subtly pushing everything in a very specific lockstep, ideological direction.”
