SF9 두 번째 미니앨범 ‘Breaking Sensation’의 테마는 ‘이별’이다. 사랑했던 것들로부터 이별하는 순간과 그로 인한 상처, 고독한 감정을 앨범 전반에 담았다. 타이틀 곡 '쉽다 (Easy Love)'는 이별의 상처와 사랑의 아픔을 SF9의 감성으로 풀어낸 이별송으로, SF9은 인간관계를 랜선으로 결정짓는 미래 세계의 소년들로 변신해 이별의 슬픔을 날카로운 칼군무로 완성했다. 특히, 타이틀 곡 '쉽다’에는 Justin Bieber의 ‘One Less Lonely Girl’, EXO의 '으르렁' 등을 작곡했던 히트곡 메이커 신혁이 참여해 눈길을 끈다. 각기 다른 매력을 지닌 아티스트들의 특색을 극대화하여 그에 걸맞은 음악을 선보이는 신혁이 이번에는 SF9이 가지고 있는 음악적 특색을 어떠한 새로움과 중독성 있는 사운드로 조합하여 대중들의 마음을 사로잡는 음악을 선사할지 이목이 집중된다. ‘쉽다’ 외에도 ‘Intro;이별 즈음에’ ‘Watch Out’ ‘머리카락 보일라 (Hide and Seek)’ ‘이러다가 울겠어 (Fall Down)’ ‘왜 이래 (Why)’ 등 총 6곡이 수록되었다. 전곡의 랩 가사는 래퍼 영빈, 주호, 휘영, 찬희가 썼으며 1020세대 또래라면 누구나 공감할 수 있는 진솔한 이야기를 완성했다. Their new album conveys emotions of love and separation along with the scars and lonely feelings that come after. Their title track ‘Easy Love’ is an emotional breakup song which highlights the sad emotions felt after breakups. SF9 transform into futuristic boys who define their relationship through online communication and express the pain of breakups through their synchronized dance. Especially, hit song writer Shin Hyuk, who composed Justin Bieber’s ‘One Less Lonely Girl’ and EXO’s ‘Growl’ participated in the composition for SF9’s title track, ‘Easy Love’. Shin Hyuk brings out the characteristics of each artist and expresses it through his music. Many anticipate how he balances and demonstrates SF9’s characteristics through new and catchy sounds to grab the attention of listeners. In addition to ‘Easy Love’, the mini-album is compiled of 6 tracks; ‘Intro;이별 즈음에’, Watch Out’, Hide and Seek’, ‘Fall Down’ and ‘Why’. The rap lyrics for all tracks are written by SF9’s rappers Zu Ho, Young Bin, Hwi Young and Cha Ni. They convey emotions which are relatable to listeners who are in their 10’s and 20’s. ‘Breaking Sensation’ is SF9’s new album just 2 months after the release of their first mini-album, ‘Burning Sensation’ in February.
