MiG-31 - Secrets of the Supersonic Assassin

The MiG-31 is a supersonic fighter-interceptor developed in the mid-1970s. The aircraft is based on the MiG-25 interceptor. While retaining the flight performance of the MiG-25, the MiG-31 is capable of flying at speeds of up to 3,000 km/h and is currently the fastest aircraft in service in the world. However, using the MiG-25 base, the MiG-31 has many serious changes in the design and onboard systems, which made it a much more effective combat machine, having received capabilities that, at the time of its creation, were unavailable to almost anyone. These same capabilities allowed the aircraft to remain relevant to this day, with active use alongside the latest modern machines. In this video we will get to know the MiG-31, learn its history, study its design and find out what makes it such a formidable combat machine to this day. Thank you for watching!
