Dragon Boat Festival race day in Hong Kong

Hundreds of people gathered along Aberdeen promenade in Hong Kong for the dragon boat race. Taking place on May 5th in the Lunar Calendar, the Duanwu Festival, also known as the Dragon Boat Festival, is a traditional Chinese holiday to commemorate fealty and filial piety and honour the death of poet Qu Yuan. People on this day will eat Zongzi (rice dumpling), drink realgar wine, and last but not the least, watch the dragon boat races.
