Let's dive in: Start with Cmd 6 to open color wheels, desaturate using the global slider. Set default color correction method to color wheels if needed. Add an HSL curves adjustment before color wheels for precise luma changes before converting to black and white. Identify colors in the scene: red and dark brown tones, light blue, orange in skin tone. Use color picking to select specific colors for adjustment, tweak all curves accordingly. Lastly, add a color curves adjustment for overall contrast enhancement with a subtle S-curve. Before/after comparison reveals enhanced separation and contrast between brightness values. Bonus tip: Add filmic grain for a cinematic touch using built-in or free plugins like mLUT from MotionVFX. Details and links in the video!
