Claude Ciari - La Playa (EP 1964) (Audio recording is administered by: EMI) Claude Chiari was born in Nice, on the French Riviera in 1944. He began playing guitar at voraste eleven. At the age of sixteen he joined a rock band «Les Champions» as a solo guitarist. The group was the best in France but Claude decides to get out of it and in 1964 solo album, and the rumba “La Playa“ is a hit in 45 countries. He was only twenty, and his recordings have sold millions of copies. This was the beginning of an incredible career. Claude lived in France until 1974, and then moved to Tahiti. One of the countries where he performed often enough was Japan, and that was going to happen met a Japanese girl his wife, who worked a fashion model, married, two children, and in the end took Japanese citizenship.
