Sewing a Chain Stitch

This video demonstrates how to sew a chain link stitch. Some types of chain link stitches are often incorrectly referred to as Coptic stitches in the bookbinding world. In the video, a thick colored, pre-waxed linen thread is used to help emphasize sewing only. When sewing a chain link stitch, with no board attachment, we recommend using an Irish linen 18/3 thread.
