Rio Theatre, Vancouver, November 2018 Hard Rubber Orchestra is a highly-eclectic 18-piece ensemble from Vancouver Canada. Formed in 1990 by composer John Korsrud, they have released four CDs, toured across Canada several times and to Europe, and have commissioned over 50 Canadian composers, both classical and jazz, such as Kenny Wheeler, Darcy James Argue, Brad Turner, Rene Lussier, and Linda Bouchard.
