Transform Ordinary Cardboard into Graceful Porcelain: Candy Jar Decoupage Tutorial

In this decoupage tutorial, I will demonstrate how I transform a cardoard box into an elegant bone porcelain-inspired candy jar🍬. As a bonus, you are invited to a tea ceremony☕. Let's get crafting! MATERIALS • Cardboard box with lid: Decopatch • Wooden knob • Padico Hearty soft clay, white (to mold the ornaments) • Quick-dry Tacky Glue (to fix molded ornaments and wooden knob) • Alcohol-based varnish: Creartec Schellack • Wood primer: White Gesso • Acrylic paint: Solo Goya, ivory • Patination paint: Pentart Lasurgel, country blue • Glossy acrylic wood varnish: Aquaclou Holzlack • Metallic-gold wax: Stamperia Cerantica • Silicone molds: Cesil Professional TIPS • Dilute acrylic varnish: mix together 90% varnish and 10% water • Allow each layer of paint or varnish to dry naturally, without using a dryer • When applying Schellack (an alcohol-based varnish), let it dry for 2 days to ensure proper adhesion and finish. • Apply 1 to 3 layers of acrylic paint depending on its coverage • After applying gold wax, allow it to dry for at least 1 week before polishing for optimal results.
