How To Make Cranachan | Munch

Scotland has made some wonderful contributions to the world of food. From haggis to tattie scones and oatcakes to square sausage! This week, Munch takes on the challenge of cranachan. It's one of Scotland's best loved desserts, and is very easy to make. It probably even counts as one of your five a day... right? Cranachan - Recipe Ingredients 150g Raspberries 20g Oats 300ml Double Cream 150g Yoghurt A drizzle of honey A splash of whisky Instructions: Crush the raspberries with a fork. Make sure of save a few for decoration. Pour the oats into a dry frying pan and toast over a medium-low heat for 3-5 mins. Add the double cream, yoghurt, honey and whisky to a mixing bowl and whisk until soft peaks begin to form. Layer the creamy mixture, toasted oats and crushed raspberries in a glass and repeat.
