Every body is different, but they are similar in one way. Our bodies are always changing, for better or worse. Of course, swimming burns calories. Being in the water burns more calories than being on land. The stronger the effort and/or the longer the workout, the more calories you will burn. However, that doesn't necessarily mean you're burning fat.
