Star Wars The Old Republic: How to fix launcher not initializing issue

This video describes how to solve the problem(usually for people who just installed the SWTOR launcher) in which the SWTOR launcher does not patch or stays stuck on “initializing“. This has been a problem for about 2 years now and would be beneficial for Bioware or EA to fix this.
