Maxscript: Using the $ sign!

In this video, we will be using a shortcut way of accessing the current selection in 3ds max via maxscript. If you're working on an immediate scene and want to quickly run short scripts on the current selection, you can use the $ sign and it will provide you with the current selection. But beware of the fact that, if you have one object selected then it will provide you the object itself and if you have multiple objects it will provide you the $selection value. TIP: Use this for just evaluating scripts on immediate scenes, but use the selection keyword if you are making tools to avoid errors.
