MiMa feat... his High Intensity Discharge lighting stuff ;-)

For those used to see me while playing keyboards on Youtube, in this video you’ll find some unusual stuff ;-) I’m fascinated with electric ligting since I was 7, and in all these years I collected a lot of lamps (I have about 350 lamps of all types in my collection) and related things (I have a dozen of ballasts and some lighting fixtures). In this video you’ll see all my fully working HID fixtures coming on all at the same time. Notice the heavy buzzing sound from ignitors turning on the lamps and from the ballasts keeping them lit ;-) All the fixtures on the topmost row are custom built by me with stuff I had around and some recovered stuff from the local electric and electronic wastes disposal center (especially ballasts). In this video you’ll find the following fixtures, with their descriptions: - Top row, all custom built: 1) A metal halide fixture, made from a standard double ended halogen floodlight. The ballast is housed in an uncommon computer power supply ca
