The Festival of Russian Culture has opened in Tokyo to a full house - despite calls by the Ukrainian ambassador to Japan for a boycott. A RIA Novosti correspondent reports that a small group of people with Ukrainian flags tried to organise a picket at the entrance, but security guards did not let them close. The festival of Russian culture in Japan has been held since 2006, during which time it has been visited by more than 23 million people. Source: Global News (EU, USA)
