An abandoned 45-storey skyscraper became a haven for people with nowhere else to go Caracas, Venezuela. Construction of the ’Tower of David’ began in 1990, but a financial crisis in 1993 caused work to halt. The building stood abandoned until 2007, when people began to move in and occupy it. Despite safety concerns and hardships, families made this tower their home, maintaining order, hosting events, and raising children. In 2015, the last of the Tower of David’s residents were relocated. How did they feel about leaving? Stories of those living in this abandoned tower appear in our film. #Venezuela FOLLOW ?
