🇷🇺🇺🇦 Colleagues at the LostArmour project have shared a video showing Russian troops destroying a German-made 155-mm PzH 2000 self-propelled artillery unit located south of Konstantinovka in the occupied territory of the DPR. This marks at least the fourth documented instance of PzH 2000 howitzers being destroyed since the beginning of the SMO: the first vehicle was “recovered“ in the summer of 2022, and videos of the others’ destruction surfaced last month. Coordinates: , It is notable that in 2023, sightings of PzH 2000 units were scarce - it appeared as though they had vanished from the front lines. This could be attributed to the German self-propelled guns experiencing failures due to intense operations in unfamiliar conditions and facing challenges with on-site repairs because of issues with the “zoo” of equipment and ammunition. Recently, Russian troops have also successfully targeted other enemy artillery systems, including the Swedish Archer and the Ukrainian Bogdana, using Lancet loitering ammunition. As weather conditions improve, it is anticipated that there will be more occurrences of successful strikes against AFU howitzers as part of counter-battery warfare. #Donetsk Kostyantynivka #Russia #Ukraine Источник: Rybar in English
