Max & Harry Nesbitt (1931)

No titles. Max and Harry Nesbitt. Pathe Studio, London. Max and Harry Nesbitt are introduced by Ronald Frankau in evening dress. He makes comment about the quality of the stage curtains and exits. Dissolve to set with grand piano and pianist in background. Max and Harry enter and begin crosstalk with 'jokes' at Harry's expense. Max then sits and plays small ukulele. (Great 'jazz baby' mugging and bouncing about from both!) They both begin to sing 'I've Got A Feeling I've Fallen'. Max carries on with a dazzling display on the ukulele. They then sing 'OK Baby' (? could be 'All Day Baby'?), scat singing, tap dancing and generally fooling around. They finish with an impression of a pair of Scotsmen on New Years Eve. They both spin around and, when they are dizzy, reel off stage. I love this pair! Great example of late 20s / early 30s entertainers with lots of pizzazz. Good for showing eccentric dancing - I think they're really funny - SL. This is duplicate of item in Pathetone PT 0
