Make sure you have a character with enough speed to be able to throw a potion to Omega Weapon before it get its turn, you can repeat it over and over again while the other character simply attack. In my case Shephie had Spd 87 (Triple junctioned), Auto-Haste and Initiative. You need to have atleast more than 61 speed since Omega Weapon has that speed. Note: Works in ANY version of the game. Thanks to this and to Mag +60% and Mag +40%, Quistis reached 255 Mag. Kamikaze: The amount of damage done is equal to the character's max HP multiplied by 5, although the attack can be a critical hit. Quistis's max HP was 9541. 9541 x 5 = 47,705 (The hard damage cap is set to 60,000). In FFVIII there are 5 abilities that can break the 9,999 damage limit: - Cactuar's 1,000 Needles can deal 10,000 damage at level 100. - Boko's ChocoBocle can deal up to 16,000 at level 100. (OG version only) - Quistis Shockwave Pulsar can deal 34,000 damage with 255 Mag. - Kamikaze can deal 60,000 damage if character has max HP (9999) and if the attack is a critical. - Eden's Eternal Breath can deal 60,000 damage at level 100 with 250% boost.
